In October, MallorcaLeads consolidated the 6th edition of the MallorcaLeads International Workshop, a key event for the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events (MICE) tourism sector in Mallorca. This gathering showcased Mallorca’s emergence as a premier destination for business tourism, featuring participation from international agencies from countries such as Switzerland, Germany, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, France, and Spain.
MallorcaLeads stands out as the best MICE representation office in Mallorca, promoting the island as the ideal location for corporate events.
Organising corporate events requires meticulous planning and collaboration with top local providers, who gathered at this workshop. During the event, One2One meetings were conducted, a model that allows international event organisers to connect directly with the best local suppliers.
Steps and Tips for Organising a Successful Workshop
Organising a successful promotional event involves following a series of steps and having trusted suppliers who understand the unique needs of each client.
Below are some essential aspects that MallorcaLeads considered to ensure the success of the Workshop:
- Defining the type of event: Defining the type of event is crucial: Is it a corporate anniversary celebration, a conference, an incentive, or a team-building activity? The choice of event type determines the organisation style and logistics necessary to achieve its objectives effectively.
- Choosing the Location: Among the best venues for hosting events in Mallorca are Finca Son Termes, Kimpton Aysla Mallorca and Finca Son Verí, where workshop participants enjoyed unforgettable experiences. These venues offer spaces with diverse capacities, uniqueness, and distinctive features that enhance the appeal of the event.
- Designing the programme: The selection of activities and networking sessions can significantly impact the event’s success. In the sixth edition of the MallorcaLeads International Workshop, the programme included everything from One2One meetings to a visit to Valldemossa and an interactive GPS activity with iPads in the heart of Palma, organised by LifeXperiences. This provided a perfect balance between business and cultural experiences.
- Logistics for organising an event: Effective logistics coordination with local suppliers is fundamental. Catering companies like Jardín Events by Maca de Castro and provided memorable culinary experiences during the workshop, exemplifying how collaboration with local gastronomy experts is key to high-level events. All of this is complemented by decoration, furniture, tableware, and the exceptional table setup that Grupo Tot a Punt stands out for.
The reception of guests during planned activities is another key aspect to consider in event logistics. For the workshop, we collaborated with Pinup Azafatas y Eventos.
- Technology and Audiovisual Production: For the event, companies like MET Productions, AICO Servicios Audiovisuales and Lomusic contributed a professional atmosphere with advanced audiovisual production technologies and live music.
The Importance of Choosing a Good Supplier
