HOUSE OF SON AMAR

Located at the foothills of the Serra de Tramontana, you will find “House Of Son Amar“. A unique finca with over 50 years of experience in the world of leisure and entertainment.

This 16th century Mallorcan “Possessió” has spectacular outdoor spaces such as the White Garden or the Mallorquin cobbled courtyard, ideal for outdoor entertaining, ceremonies and cocktail parties. Among our many rooms, 2 stand out, the “Tafona” (covered in natural stone) with a capacity for 250 people, or the Grand Theatre auditorium (equipped with the most advanced lighting and sound technology in Europe), with a capacity for 2000 people and perfect for conferences, gala dinners and other corporate events.

Theatre
Our theatre is equipped with the latest technology in sound and lighting systems, as well as the reproduction of audiovisual media. It is equipped with a state-of-the-art wiring system that allows us to have a multicolour LED lamp on each table, as well as on all the handrails. Thanks to these modern systems, the atmosphere can be varied through light, offering a multitude of possibilities and colours.
The floor of the venue is laminate and the walls, which are lined with special acoustic panels, provide a sensational sound quality.
Stage
The stage has a usable area of 290m2. It has three individual hydraulics, which allow a multitude of options.
Two large 45m2 high resolution screens are installed on both sides. In addition, we have eleven cameras installed around the perimeter of the theatre, allowing us to capture all points and images from all angles.
Thanks to all the technology that our theatre is equipped with, any scenic need can be created, obtaining an impressive and surprising effect.

The white garden
The White Garden was personally designed by the owner of House Of Son Amar’s son. He is passionate about flora, fauna, recycling, sustainability and environmental preservation.
Each of the plants and flowers that make up this beautiful place were personally chosen by him, under the common denominator of the white flowers, from which the name comes.
This place evokes a journey around the world and its main inspiration is located in Sissinhurst Castle, in the south of Great Britain. It was created specifically to host weddings and is equipped with a main altar, a classical quartet platform and white lacquered speakers that cover the entire area.
This venue can accommodate large ceremonies and events, but is also an idyllic setting for smaller, more intimate ceremonies.

The BBQ “Ses Roses”
This is another multifunctional space, opened in April 2016, which also has the owner’s personal touch, where he has brought all his passion for gardens.
It is a place with more than 2000 red roses, and where the history of House Of Son Amar began, as this is where the first of the barbecues was originally located and shortly after the first of the shows took place.
In its restoration process the original stones and pillars have been preserved, and at the same time this unique space has been equipped with the latest technology, being fitted with loudspeakers, LED technology and several light covers that spill over the terrace.
Our barbecue is separated by several levels and has a fountain dating back to the 16th century, fully restored and decorated.
A charming place to celebrate any party or event, with a different touch.

The Mallorcan Courtyard
This is one of the most emblematic and distinguished spaces, being considered one of “our crown jewels”. This 16th century Mallorcan courtyard is perfectly preserved and houses a small chapel. The total surface area is very large and spacious, with a total terrace of approximately 300m2 with a capacity for 100 people.
Decorated with antique carriages, a traditional water well and plants in typical Mallorcan pots and a beautiful covered gallery balcony that surrounds the courtyard, very characteristic of the constructions of feudal times on our island. In the centre and presiding over the space are the old stairs leading to the manor house.
This old and romantic courtyard is perfect for small events or intimate weddings. It is also used as an aperitif area and as a reception area for events taking place in other areas of House Of Son Amar.

Kingdom Of Alcazar And Terrace
Our beautiful terrace and restaurant inside the castle has been renovated in the image of a small medieval fortress that even has a water moat.
With a surface area of 136 m2 inside the castle, it has a capacity for 150 seated guests. The outdoor terrace has 1,050 m2 and can accommodate up to 500 people seated or 750 people standing.
The Kingdom of Alcazar is a perfect venue for small private parties, corporate events or meetings, at any time of the year. It has its own access from the street to the terrace and entrance, private bar and toilets.
After the meal we can provide all kinds of entertainment without disturbing the guests, from a DJ on the roof playing from one of the towers of the Castle for your group on the terrace, entertainment groups or live performances, or to let yourself be carried away by live music set up and illuminated on the side, all framed by fantastic views of the Tramontana Mountains.

“Tafona”
“Tafona”, which in the Mallorcan language means “olive press “, is another of our most unique and emblematic enclosures. In fact, the creation of this room more than 900 years ago is the main reason why the building of House Of Son Amar was erected 9 centuries ago (if our walls could talk, they would surely tell a multitude of stories).
This beautiful and spacious room with stone walls, high ceilings, original columns is our most popular space for events.
300 m2 of space to accommodate 150 people seated and 200 standing.
Modern renovated bathrooms, private bar, private entrance, original caves and a wine cellar.
Due to its location in House Of Son Amar this room offers great possibilities. It can be used as the main entrance to House Of Son Amar. This room is used for small shows, parties, weddings and conferences as well as a reception area if the auditorium is used.
Our grounds and car parks.

We are fortunate to have ample parking space, which is used by our clients. One area that goes unnoticed is our large bus parking area behind our main structure.

This 4,720 m2 area has access from both sides.
With the Tramontana Mountains in the background, it is a fantastic area for trade fairs and concerts.

Eden
Completely refurbished in 2021, Eden is an intimate sanctuary for all lovers of music and hedonism, set in the beautiful grounds of the majestic finca of The House of Son Amar. No other place on the island has a setting like this. An open-air space in a privileged location, surrounded by greenery and overlooking the Serra de Tramuntana, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, represents a unique experience and even more so when you can enjoy a cocktail service developed by expert Mixologists, an extensive socially inspired menu and exciting performances by international artists that will awaken all of your senses.

With a capacity for 278 seated and 400 standing guests, it represents a very special location for presentations, celebrations and corporate or private events, as it also has first class sound and lighting equipment.
