To the northeast of Mallorca, there is a privileged and hardly-explored enclave of sea and mountains – destination Cap Vermell. It’s an area surrounded by virgin nature, bathed by the Mediterranean and protected by a spectacular rocky ledge known as Cap Vermell because of the reddish colour of the walls.

Canyamel, in the municipality of Capdepera, and its neighbouring towns are just under an hour away from the airport by car. Destination Cap Vermell is comprised of a series of sparsely populated coastal areas offering peace and lovely landscapes, excellent gastronomy, a good climate year round, history and culture, sports, entertainment, wellbeing and health. A little bit of everything to fully enjoy Mallorca.

Leafy pine forests, infinite landscapes lined almond and oak trees, fields of wheat inhabited by calmly grazing sheep, the imposing Serra de Llevant mountains, endless virgin coves with crystal-clear water, spectacular cliffs, caves and natural ravines… It’s an exclusive atmosphere where the maritime breeze coming off the Mediterranean is always present.

Between Capdepera and Artà lies Llevant Natural Park along with the Marine Reserve, the Canyamel wetlands, the dunes at Munt Gros (Cala Mesquida), Cala Mata, Cap des Freu, Cala Rajada, Cap des Pinar and Font de sa Cala. Visiting destination Cap Vermell is a unique experience that can only be had first hand.

One of the main attractions of destination Cap Vermell is its truly complete culinary offering. It has six well-known restaurants in the area: Vintage 1934, Hedonist Club, Balearic, Tapas Bar, Asia and Voro, which is led by Michelin star chef Álvaro Salazar.

All of them invite guests on a journey of the world’s cuisine through unique flavours and textures with meticulously created recipes made using top-quality, fresh and seasonal ingredients.

There are so many cultural attractions to find in this area which is so rich in history, architecture and traditions.
